General FAQ's
How much cashback do we as an organization receive from online sales?
Most of our schools make between 5% and 25%. You will receive a minimum of 5% of all online sales with our base pricing and will have the ability to markup products to increase your Cashback!
When do we get paid our cashback?
All cashback payments will be paid four times a year (quarterly):
1st Quarter: January - March
2nd Quarter: April - June
3rd Quarter: July - September
4th Quarter: October - December
How do we get paid?
Your organization will receive a check directly from Your Official Gear®. How you decide to distribute the funds within your school/organization is up to you.
Can we place bulk orders?
Yes! You can save you up to 40% or more on bulk orders. Minimum order quantity is 6 items. To get a free bulk quote visit Your Bulk Gear and click on "Get a Quote".
Will you need our logo or mascot/logo?
Yes. After you sign up please send us your mascot/logo. Be sure to check our Sending Graphics FAQ's to learn how to send us graphics.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. The cost to build your store is only $100. We don't ever ask you for this cost.

Every quarter we'll send you a cashback report explaining how much cashback was generated from your store's online sales and how much of it was put toward the the cost of building your store. Once this cost is paid, you'll receive 100% of your store's cashback. In other words, we bear all the risk and start-up expense. In addition, we do all the hosting, updating and maintaining of the store; all at no cost to you. All we ask is that you promote your store in your school/organization.
What if we currently order a different product brand of t-shirt, hat, etc.?
We have done extensive research to come up with the best selection of products within each product category online. We do our best to choose products that are very comparable to your current selection and our product line is ever-evolving. If there is a specific product you need, we will be glad to handle your bulk order. To get a free bulk quote visit Your Bulk Gear and click on "Get a Quote".
How long will it take for my store to be set-up?
It will take about 5-7 business days before your store is live and ready.
Can I link my school website to my online store?
Yes and we recommend that you do since a link is your school's "door" to your store. We'll provide you with pre-built links to give your school's webmaster. If you have question's about adding links to your school's website, contact your webmaster.
How will I let people know about my new store?

We will ship you one (1) 24" x 30" and two (2) 11" x 17" color posters promoting your school's gear. Also available in your online store will be other ads and articles to print off and distribute. Pre-made materials only apply to school stores.

Can I still work with my local apparel vendor?
Of course! Your agreement with us is only for online stores.
We have a special logo for one of our teams, can I add that to my gear?
Yes! Please let us know and we will take care of your needs. Be sure to check our Sending Graphics FAQ's to learn how to send us graphics.
What if I want to make changes to my store?
Your account manager will contact you as soon as you sign up. Your account manager will take care of any desired changes you may have during the life of your store.
What is my obligation if I sign-up?
Your only job should you sign-up is to provide us with yout mascot/logo and help us promote your store at your school/organization. The rest is up to us!

What fabric colors do products in my store come in?
To see all available products and colors visit our demo store. T-shirts and other silkscreen products come in white and gray. All other product colors are determined by your school's colors. All colors show for non-school stores.

Sending Graphics
Where should I send my mascot/logo?
Please email your graphics to graphics@yourofficialgear.com. If you feel that your graphic is too large to send via email, you may send it on a CD or DVD via the postal service to:

When do I need to send my graphics by?
We’ll build your store within 5-7 business days from the day you signed up. If you can’t get a mascot/logo to us within that time please contact graphics@yourofficialgear.com
What file format do I send graphics in?
For Raster Files (JPG, TIFF, PDF): Your Official Gear prefers 300 DPI at 100% resolution of the desired print size.

For Vector Files (EPS, PDF): Please embed or convert to outlines any fonts in a vector file.

Your Official Gear prefers color profiles as CMYK, but we’ll also accept RGB.
What should the dimensions of my graphics be?
Graphics should be no smaller than 11.5 inches wide or tall.
Are my graphics limited in color?
To keep our embroidery and printed graphics consistent we’ve formulated a palette of 14 colors. See our color chart here.

However, because of our printing technology we can almost print any color on a white or gray fabric.  If the colors in your mascot/logo do not translate to our color palette, then we will run the color as is for printed shirt designs. We do not guarantee that the printed colors will match perfectly to your original graphics.
Can Your Official Gear create my mascot/logo for me?
We have a collection of generic mascots and clip art to use in your shirt designs. Please be as specific as possible when explaining your graphics requests.
